The seat recline is 13 cm (5 inches) and the legroom is 84 cm (33 inches). This means you will be getting 4 cm of additional recline and 5 cm of additional legroom in comparison to the regular Economy seats.
Economy Comfort seats are located in the first row of Economy Class. Hence, Economy Comfort passengers will be among the first to deboard the flight. These seats can be easily identified due to their indistinguishable color. There is also a small divider on the aircraft between Economy and Economy Comfort Seats.
KLM Economy Comfort Cost
The standard price of a KLM Economy Comfort seat is EUR 5-20. This cost can vary depending on factors such as flight duration and flight route. Generally, the longer the flight, the more money the airline will charge you for an Economy Comfort seat.
If you wish to purchase the Economy Comfort seat using Flying Blue Miles, you will have to spend anywhere between 1,500 to 5,000 miles. This figure will also depend on the duration of your flight.
Economy Comfort seats are free of cost for Flying Blue Platinum members. Flying Blue Gold and Silver members will get a 50% and 25% discount respectively. There won’t be any discount offered if you are making the payment using miles.
How To Book KLM Economy Comfort Seat?
There are multiple channels through which you can purchase a KLM Economy Comfort flight ticket. You can make your booking either online via the KLM Airlines website (during the reservation process), through KLM’s telephone reservations, or directly at the airport.

- Make the payment to confirm your Economy Comfort seat.
When your desired KLM flight seat is successfully reserved, the airline will send you an email confirming the same.
You can also select your Economy Comfort seat during the Online Check-In process which begins 30 hours prior to the scheduled flight departure.
