Terms & Conditions – Qantas Flight Credit

Conditions Apply to All Flight Credits:

  1. Unless an extension has been implemented, flight credits are valid until the expiry date shown on your flight credit.
  2. The fare conditions from your original flight booking are no longer applicable once you start using your flight credit.
  3. These conditions will apply if your new booking has a more restrictive cancellation policy.
  4. Except under certain instances, such as under the Australian Consumer Law, any unutilized value will be non-refundable.
  5. Flight Credits can be redeemed online for round-trip or one-way bookings from the country where the original ticket has been issued.
  6. If passengers wish to use a flight credit on a flight that departs from a country other than their own.
  7. In that case, they should go to their local Qantas office to book a multi-city travel plan or one that includes Jetstar flights.
  8. Flight credits are non-transferable & non-refundable.
  9. To redeem flight credits, passengers need to visit Qantas’s official site or at their nearest Qantas office.
  10. A booking change fee may apply.
  11. The Qantas don’t consider name changes.

  1. The original booking’s cancellation terms will apply to your Flight Credit. Please always check the flight fare conditions.
  2. If original fare conditions permit a refund, passengers must request 1 before using the Flight Credit and also before it gets expired.
  3. If Flight Credit has not been used before it expires, then Flight Credit value will be forfeited in that case unless the original fare conditions allow a refund and a request for refund was submitted before the expiry date.
  4. Any change fees applicable to the original flight booking will be used unless waived.
  5. Passengers must apply for your Flight Credit prior to their scheduled departure date.
  6. Flight credits issued after the 31st of January 2019 for bookings made on or before the 30th of September 2021 are valid for bookings and travel until the 31st of December 2023.
  7. Flight Credits can only be applied to fares of equal or greater value than the original fare purchased unless your original booking was made before September 30, 2021.
  8. Your Flight Credit can be applied to multiple future bookings.
  9. Passengers can simply book their Qantas tickets and assure that they travel by December 31, 2023.
  10. If you do not use the entire value of your Flight Credit in one transaction and the balance is more than $2, a new Flight Credit with the same expiry date will be issued.
