Members of Qatar Airways Student Cub can get 10% to 20% discounts on their flight bookings. When you first join the club, the airline will give you a promo code to get 10% off on the very first flight you book. Upon your first travel, you will be getting a second promo code with 15% off for your second flight trip. For the third booking, you can get up to 20% off with the third promo code.
Fly With Additional Baggage
If you are a Burgundy Student Club Member, depending on your flight route, you can fly with either an additional 10 kgs of baggage or one more baggage item. The airline has set a maximum weight limit of 25 kgs for Economy Classic fares. With the Student Club, you can travel with baggage weighing a maximum of 35 kgs in Economy Classic which is the same as the weight limit set for Economy Comfort.

How To Get Qatar Airways Student Discount?
As mentioned earlier, to receive Qatar Airways Student Discount, passengers are required to be a member of the airline’s Student Club. You can join the Student Club either online (Qatar Airways website) or by contacting the airline’s customer support. Follow the simple steps listed below to join the Student Club.
- Visit the Qatar Airways website on your web browser.
- In the header of the website, you will see the ‘Privilege Club’ tab, click on it.
- Choose the ‘Student Club’ option.
- On the next webpage, click on the ‘Join’ button.
- Fill in the required information (personal details, university details, etc.) in the registration form.
- Once you have read the terms and conditions of the Student Club. Click on the Create an Account button.
- You can also get your account created using your Facebook or Google account.

Qatar Airways Student Discount Guidelines
Before you join the Student Club to be eligible for flight discounts, you must know about the various guidelines the airline provides in relation to the Club. Read further to know more.
- An expected graduation date must be provided while enrolling in the Student Club program.
- Tier upgrade is permitted only once upon graduation.
- Certain documents will be required for being eligible for tier upgrades.
- Qatar Airways does not provide physical cards for Student Club membership.
- When the student graduates, the Student Club membership is terminated automatically.
- The airline takes no guarantee of the availability of any student discounts and other benefits.
Companion Pass For Student Club Members
Student Club benefits can also be shared with other travelers. You can invite up to three student companions or pre-select them from the family members list. The companions shall also be eligible for discounts and other benefits such as a free date change for the booking. The other passengers must be registered in the member’s profile and should be 18 years or above.
Note: Companion passengers must travel together for the entire booking to be eligible for discounts.
