Oversized Baggage

A fee of 75USD is charged for baggage going over the size requirements (size requirements are already mentioned above). The baggage that comes under oversized baggage falls under 160-292 cm or 63-115 inches (linear). If the bag exceeds this limit, the airline will not accept checked baggage or hold luggage under Frontier Airlines Baggage Policy.

Overweight Baggage

Just like size restrictions, Frontier Airlines have weight restrictions for checked baggage as well. The standard weight that is accepted is 23 kilograms or 50 pounds. For bags falling between 51 to 100 pounds or 24 to 46 kilograms are considered oversized bags. The airline charges 75USD per oversized bag.

Special Treatments Under Frontier Airlines Baggage Policy

Passengers can carry CPAP machines with them only if the canister is emptied. The valve of the unit must also be removed. Frontier’s aircraft do not have electrical power for CPAP. The machine cannot exceed the size and weight dimensions laid down by the airlines.

Traveling With Infants And Children

Frontier Airlines Baggage Policy states that adult passengers traveling with children up to 2 years of age, do not require to purchase their seat. They will be considered a lap child.
